This is my indie publishing house.

Over the last few years, I’ve been working on my debut novel, hiring two editors, one typesetter, one proofreader, one artist, one paper press, several agencies, and a website designer (hello Adam).

With this in mind, I didn’t want to name the big website that incubates the final product: ‘EdgarDJacksonOfficialWebsite.com’.

Blergh. That’s rubbish. I’m just one person behind this project, so it didn’t make any sense to name the website after me. Also, I’m wonderfully, endearingly humble. So there was that to think about.

Instead, I wanted to form a sort of base. A hub, if you will. In the future, I plan to publish, market, and sell all IolandaPress books on here, bypassing the need for any middlemen who want to take a 99.9999% cut. Being a writer is hard, y’all. And I like the idea of doing it all by myself.

So here I am, sitting in my own publishing house (it’s not really a house. It’s just my laptop. Which is an old Huawei. So you’re probably being spied on as we speak.)

Maybe in the future, there will be other authors with works available on this website, and IolandaPress will become the very thing it was meant to fight against.

But for now, it’s just me. Me and my book, Seeing Dead, which is available to buy in paperback and eBook at this very moment.

Years and years have gone into making Seeing Dead, so I really hope you enjoy it. If you don’t, you can always come back for the next one!

In all earnesty, though, I’m very excited about what IolandaPress could become. It’s taken a lot of work to get to this point, so enjoy your time here, buy the book, brew a nice cuppa, and explore the wonders of the very first world we’ve created.
